1) Местоимение less является формой сравнительной степени местоимения little, а местоимение least - формой превосходной степени.2) Less и least (как и little) обычно употребляются перед неисчисляемыми существительными (см. Countable and uncountable nouns). Однако в разговорной речи допустимо употребление этих местоимений с исчисляемыми существительными во множественном числе.This year we had less rain than last year. — В этом году было меньше дождей, чем в прошлом.
